Used to be an occasional poster on here called brewer, lower case
Made me wonder at the time, although may have been a home brew hobbyist I guess

The Shack was a great place, served good food in comparison to the slop dished up in the School. Vaguely remember they had disco's most Friday nights....or did I imagine that?

Pete Brewer was a top bloke I went on a couple of ski trips organised by him really good days! He also insisted everyone called him Pete even in school.

What became of FJ mate?

Lato
The Shack was excellent in it's time, ice cream in cola, John Lennon and Pete Brewer
What became of him? He smoked those dodgy foreign fags, Gitanes? Had lost his sense of smell following a mugging down the Romford Rd, had a GS dog and copped off with a woman PE teacher whose face I vaguely recall but not her name

Re: Brampton Manor
Is the Shack still there?

Re: Brampton Manor

I was at Brampton from 88-93
Was definitely a lot different to now. Had a proper laugh. Didn’t really have any grief with Woodside, we all knew each other and got on.
Had a great time there.

Re: Brampton Manor
We’ve had that Brampton/ Woodside girly spat on here before. All it needs to become more ridiculous is for someone to pipe up and throw Langdon into the mix.

Eerie Descent 10:57 Fri Mar 12
Re: Brampton Manor
Brampton was always a bit up itself, everyone who went there tries to pretend it was some sort of rough house, when it really wasn't.

Woodside was the proper headcase gaff. Those who know, know.

Re: Brampton Manor
Ah yes we did,I remember speaking with someone on here about Brampton
GSCS on ITBS went there too, years ago told me a rather 'interesting' story about one of the teachers and not the dyke who rode the bike
I knew AS well back then, your chronology is about right, he was a year above me. A group of us herberts used swerve off up the sewer bank for fags and talking shit, may have asked before, but do you remember his right hand man, a certain FJ? Never apart but quite different personalities, wonder what happened to him, our family moved out of the area before everyone left

Re: Brampton Manor
Crassus....I think we spoke about Brampton before,I was there from 1975-1980 ,I think you were 2 years above me.
Place was ok I guess back then although I didn't go for the last year,I bunkers off and worked at SAimons records on the Barking Road.
Had some good mates from Brampton who I still keep in touch with.Andy Swallow was 3 years above me also.

Re: Brampton Manor
hahaha cheers for that rios!

I can't quite work out which was my favourite Lammy answer.

I'm going to go for his answer that Henry VI succeed Henry VII to the throne, but his answer of Red Leicester as a blue cheese came mighty close.

Is it because these institutions need to be inclusive? So are they making allowances ?

Re: Brampton Manor
I was at Brampton Manor from September 1973 to 1978, despite the schools bad reputation they had some good Teachers there. Bill Elliot became my next door neighbour between 1992 to 2001 in Sandford Road East Ham. Nice, caring man......God Bless him.

Well done Brampton Manor

Look at the degrees achieved by David Lammy, the tottenham turnip and DIane Abbott.

Then watch a clip of David Lammy on celebrity mastermind on YT and get back to me

Re: Brampton Manor
Remember playing football there with our school, we beat them 5-1 but we got chased off the pitch as a few of them had weapons, literally had to all jump in the minivan and get out of there.
